Position: SoLa Impact Fund seeks a dynamic, resourceful, and entrepreneurially minded Executive Assistantto support its Managing Partner/Chief Executive Officer. Candidate must be exceptional on the phone, persistent, very well organized, and possess superb time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks. This is not your “run-of-the-mill” Executive Assistant that answers phone, handles personal errands, and gets coffee (no coffee making skills required whatsoever). Get “hands on” experiences in researching corporate and real-estate projects, negotiating with vendors, and assisting a high-energy company founder and entrepreneur grow our business. Looking for a candidate that wants the opportunity to learn a great deal in real-estate finance, project management, construction management, and business development. Executive is demanding, but very fair and realistic.
Manage CEO’s calendar and assist with multiple corporate and personal real-estate projects.
Research vendors, materials, contractors, suppliers, etc. – call to set up meetings, get pricing, negotiate terms, etc.
Managing spreadsheets with minor filing documents and maintaining records
Handling business errands (no drying cleaning pickups) such as picking up sample building finishes, updating executive on project status, following up with contractors/banks, reviewing bids and comparing pricing
Time would be 75% in South LA office and 25% in Pacific Palisades (executive’s home office)
Desired Background/Proven Capabilities
· Experience in real-estate and/or architecture would be a significant bonus
· Prior proven experience as a resource executive assistant or project manager in real-estate
· Experience working with Excel and MS Office suite
· Desire to learn and think analytically
· Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be party to confidential information
· Flexibility and adaptability
· Good oral and written communication skills

· Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
· The ability to be proactive and take the initiative

Compensation will include a salary of $55,000; also bonus eligibility, and paid time off
